Type I rail elastic clip (rail tension clamp) railway fastening system are used to connect 50, 60Kg/m steel rails with prestressed concrete sleepers, prestressed concrete wide sleepers, standard gauge railway lines with a straight line and a curve radius of not less than 300m, and the maximum height adjustment is 10mm.

Components of type I rail elastic clip fastening system
The rail elastic clip type I fastening system mainly contains: Rail elastic clips (Rail tension clamps), Screw spikes (sleeper screws), Nuts, Flat washers, Gauge baffles, Rail insulators and Rail rubber pads.
And the Rail elastic clips are divided into two types: A clip and B clip. The elastic clips are ω-shaped, they are also called ω fastener.
Among them, the type A rail clip is longer and can be used on both 50 and 60kg/m rails. The 50kg rail is divided into middle and joint types by two types of rail gauge baffles, each is divided into number #14 and #20. For the 50kg/m rail, the #14 gauge baffle mounted on the B-type rail clip, the others are all installed with A type spring clip. 60kg/m rails use only one kind of gauge baffle, and it is divided into number #6 and #10, all installed with B-type rail clips.
The rail insulators are divided into 2-4, 0-6 two types.

It is not necessary to install anti-creeper parts for the lines using this type of rail fastening system.
This rail fastener uses a height-adjusting rail pad to adjust the level of the rail, and the maximum allowable height is 10mm. The technical conditions of the height-adjusting rail pad shall comply with the standard TB1783 or TB1784.
