Compared with Dacromet finishing, its surface gloss is slightly darker, and the advantages of Geomet finishing are:
I) Salt spray test time can be above 1000h;
II) It is more environmentally friendly and non-toxic;
III) The surface coating adheres better and the powder is not easy to fall off;
IV) Can be treated at a low temperature below 300 degrees to prevent the hardness of the steel from decreasing.
Disadvantage of Geomet finishing: higher cost.
