Rubber rail pads are also called rail sole plater, rail sleeper pad, they are normally designed to a specified load-deflection characteristic. The initial stiffness of the pad is designed to be low so that that its deformations under the toe of spring clamps loads is quite substantial. This ensures that the pad remains in intimate contact with the rail despite any vertical movements of the latter.

Height Adjustment Rail Pads, thickness from 2mm to 30 mm, are produced using fibres and granules of SBR rubber (Stirene Butadiene Rubber) or EPDM rubber (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) compacted using a polyurethane glue; density 600 and 800 kg/m3. A non-woven, non-stretch synthetic membrane is applied on both side of panel.
Height Adjustment Rail Pad are used with fast clip fcb fastening system, for ballastless track applications.
