The KSALEX rail shoulder is pre-inserted in the concrete tie. There are M.C.I. shoulder manufactured from malleable iron and S.G.C.I. shoulder from spheroid graphite iron. We offer two types of iron shoulders. One is Single Stem Iron Shoulder used in pre-stressed concrete ties and the other is Twin Stem Iron Shoulder used in Bi-Block or Twin Block concrete ties.

Description

The casting rail shoulder is pre-inserted in concrete sleeper, used for the fixing of elastic rail clips. It is made by casting from iron, such as, ISO1038, DIN 1693, GB/T 1348-1988, GOST 7293(1985), BS EN 1563(1997), JIS G5502 (2001), KS D 4302, or NF EN 1563(1997).

Kunshan Alex can also make weld-on rail shoulder, which is weld on flat steel plate rather than the standard railroad tie plate. The weld-on shoulder is produced by hot forging, according to AREA standard. The materials for weld-on shoulders production can be low or mid carbon steel, based on the customer’s requirements.
