Shock absorber pad for rail fastenings are also called rail gasket, railway spacer, it is installed on reinforced concrete sleepers are designed to provide longitudinal resistance to rail displacement, to reduce dynamic loads on the sleepers and for electrical insulation of the railway track, and on wooden sleepers - to protect against wear.
